Welcome to WPA Today!  This project's mission is to help preserve the history of the Works Progress Administration (WPA), and to promote the idea of a new WPA for today's long-term unemployed population.

With respect to historic preservation, my primary focus is Maryland, but I also have information and photos from other parts of the country. 
Please be sure to see my exhibit pages for examples of New Deal era projects that still benefit us today!  Most are from the WPA, but you'll also find some from the CCC, PWA, etc.
